"I am pleased to provide feedback about my experiences working with Jayne Basques over the past year. This has been the most unusual year of our real estate careers, and Jayne has served as our lifeline to Compass.

Some of the results we have achieved with Jayne over the last 12 months are:

Video Generator Customization — I was instantly impressed with the video generator asset when it was launched by Compass earlier this year. The initial launch of the generator fell a little bit short of being able for us to use for public marketing — there was not a spot for an agent's DRE number, it wasn't set up for team use, etc. I loved this asset and wanted to use it right away on our Instagram account, but we needed to modify the "agent" page for our use. I reached out to Jayne for help and she figured out how to modify the generator, and we were able to create videos months ahead of the ultimate Compass revisions to this asset. Jayne is focused on what is possible, not simply performing routine tasks. Jayne is always ready for new challenges and opportunities and is solutions-driven.

Custom CMA Pages — During this year of change we recreated our CMA look and content to address the changed real estate environment, and Jayne was instrumental in designing the project. She is meticulous in following Compass design elements (font style and size, layout, design aspects) while creating unique marketing materials for a competitive advantage for each agent. I've noticed work she has created for other agents and each project reflects the style and personality of her customer. Jayne listens carefully to our wants and needs for a project and puts herself in our shoes, not interjecting an ego into the project. She is always pleasant to work with and is sensitive to our time constraints for each project.

Custom Advertisements — From time to time we run special advertisements for unique properties or agent image ads in various publications. When we schedule a project with Jayne she sets a clear timeline to meet the deadline, lets us know what she needs by when, and works with the different publications to produce camera ready art to suit their needs. We are always delighted with the ads and if I may boast, I think our ads are the best in each publication run. I think Jayne sets the bar high for the marketing of our local community.

Custom Website — This is an ongoing project that we update regularly. We have a listing of four modern oceanfront homes currently under construction on the San Mateo County Coast. This is a $30,000,000 listing with a very experienced investor group. The Architect is nationally known and designs multi million dollar homes across the county. It was a very competitive listing and we need to continually impress the investors with our marketing. Jayne was able to implement every wish of our seller, and continues to update the project to the delight of our investors. And I have no idea how she does it. The architecture firm sends us files that are so massive I can not open them and they freeze my computer… I know she created a YouTube channel to house videos they've sent us for the website, etc., but thankfully Jayne speaks their artist language and they share information.

Saviour — While this would not be a typical project for a Marketing Advisor, I think it is important for you to know how vitally important Jayne has been to our real estate business this past year.

Everyone's job has been disrupted by the Coronavirus pandemic, and we can all tell stories.

Realtors are not the most technically-swift people in the world. After several attempts for help from support@compass.com we realized that we were on our own and had to struggle with listing and selling real estate during a pandemic environment while handicapped with systems.

When we had questions or needed help we were directed to sign up for a 1:1 30-minute session several days or weeks out on the schedule, rather than a quick 5-minute call when help was needed. But thankfully we knew Jayne and whenever we've reached out to her for help she has been quick to respond to our requests. She is always positive and helps us whenever she can. She understands the BIG picture is to help agents close transactions and bring in revenue for the company. Jayne helps us with the receipt of massive print quality photos files from our photographer that we can not handle on our home computers. She is copied on all of our photographer's transmissions to us so she can access the photos needed to produce printed materials, and helps us receive the MLS and online quality photos. We've also reached out for help from Jayne upon receipt of multiple offers on a listing, and she understands that is a timely request and acts accordingly. (An example of how she helps in this situation would be if we receive six offers for a listing, from different agents using different computer software systems and styles of transmission… and we receive one we are unable to open and process. Jayne helps us unlock the info.) While helping us solve real-time problems Jayne is able to gently slip in a little training so when we encounter the situation again we know how to handle the problem. Jayne has a helpful and can-do attitude and always tries to help (not to pass us off to someone else). When we get stuck on something she is happy to help by sharing her knowledge with us, and if she doesn't have an immediate answer goes above and beyond to research the issue and find a solution. Jayne has been a lifesaver this past year.
